About our vessels
The TERN...
...is a 30' Zodiac Hurricane. This boat served with the US Navy Seals (SDVT-1) in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii for a decade before being acquired by us. We have fully remodeled it with 6 shock absorbing seats, 2 spacious benches, as well as a small enclosed cabin with an electric toilet. Two brand new 300hp Mercury engines round out the upgrade.
The maximum capacity is 12 passengers, 2 crew. The TERN is a USCG certified small passenger vessel and carries an auto-inflating life raft and emergency beacon.
Passengers say the TERN's best attributes are:
1. Air filled tubes which surround the side of the boat, allowing for easy GoPro dunking and comfortable leaning and sitting on all sides of the boat while stopped and enjoying wildlife encounters.
2. Totally open deck and lack of obstruction for near 360 degree views and photography advantages.
The JAEGER...
... is a 25' SafeBoat Full Cabin. Originally operated by the United States Coast Guard for 15 years, the JAEGER was build in Bremerton, WA in 2004. She was acquired by us in 2019, and totally customized with brand new 225hp Mercury outboards, a helm station on the roof, and additional outside seating.
The SafeBoat 25 is an absolute tank, weighing in at 7,800 pounds full fuel. A weather tight cabin, self-bailing and sealed deck, along with a solid foam collar means this boat can handle some serious seas.
Passengers say the JAEGER's best attributes are:
1. Four full sized shock absorbing chairs inside the cabin assure an underway experience free from wind, spray, cold, and sun.
2. Rock solid ride from the JAEGER's stout weight and layout. One truly feels protected aboard this "Safe Boat".
