December Schedule Discussion

Many folks are inquiring.... "What about trips during the Christmas Season?!" In years past, we have operated Killer Whale Quests with good success in the time immediatley before and after Christmas. This year, we do not have any trips on our calendar in the time frame.

The reason why is that our schedule in Newport Beach is very much full, day and night, for 2 hour trips during this time. If we have Oxnard commitments on top of this, it's a big stressor to our scheduling. On top of that, it seems without fail people end up getting colds and flus during the holiday period. We have to build in a bit of a cushion for crewmembers not being able to work to full potential over the holidays. It all combines to be a potentially hectic 2 weeks!

That being said... we may put Killer Whale Quests online "tactically" in response to great weather conditions between December 15th and January 1st. You'll have to keep an eye on the @pacificoffshore Instagram account stories and/or the email subscription list, the sign up for that is on the main page of this website!
